Volunteer Association

Quail Hollow Herbal Society

The Quail Hollow Herbal Society was founded in 1984 and is a participating organization at Quail Hollow Park. Its purpose is to maintain the herb garden on the grounds of the park and to educate and promote interest in the cultivation and use of herbs.

Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm with no regular meeting in May and July. The Society’s regular meetings feature speakers and demonstrations on all aspects of gardening with a special emphasis on herbs.

The formal herb garden at the park was created by the Quail Hollow Herbal Society and is maintained by the Society. To date over $100,000 has been invested in its construction and care. All moneys were raised through various projects of the Herbal Society membership. Garden tours and special programs are available to groups on request.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Quail Hollow Herbal Society, please come and get acquainted during a regularly scheduled meeting or call 330-628-4720.
