Manor House

The former H.B. Stewart family home is primarily used for educational and community activities. It is open for self-guided tours every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from May through October and by appointment at other times. A visitor center is located within the home. The library, kitchen and dining room can be rented for meetings or small parties.

The Carriage House Nature Center

The Carriage House Nature Center invites visitors to learn about local wildlife and to encourage nature discovery for the purpose of fostering care and respect for our natural world. Exhibits and programs are offered to schools, scouts, day cares, or other groups as well as individual visitors looking for a fun and educational experience. The Nature Center houses live animals and hands on nature displays as well as a spacious area for program presentations.

The Carriage House Nature Center birds of prey can be viewed every day. These birds all have permanent injuries that prevent them from being released into the wild. They are now wildlife ambassadors and are used for education programs at the park and other locations throughout the community.

The Nature Center is open every Saturday and Sunday from the second weekend in May thru October. The hours are 1pm to 4pm. Groups visiting the park can make a special request to visit the Nature Center. For more information about the Carriage House Nature Center or to request a program, call 330-877-2457
